Head of Global Product Development.
· Leads and inspires team of product developers responsible for apparel and accessories development and sourcing strategies for Amazon’s private label brands: Amazon Essentials, Amazon Aware, Spotted Zebra.
· Owns licensing business, serving as external-facing category leader with The Walt Disney Company.
· Analyzes data, trends, and competitive benchmarks to identify whitespace opportunities across the portfolio, recommending strategic brand launches, pivots, or sunsets to senior leadership.
· Creates seasonal and long-range roadmaps, strategically timing and prioritizing development in accordance with seasonality, lead times, supply chain considerations, and vendor/organizational readiness.
· Accountable for product profitability, including design, creation, and implementation of a bespoke cost target-setting tool, improving margins by ~200 bps in both Y1 and Y2.
· Drives program design and implementation of Amazon’s own product lifecycle management (PLM) system.
· Spearheads “Perfect Launch” (i.e., zero-defect detail pages), reducing defect rate from 35% to <5% in Y1.
· Creates and implements cross-channel development processes, quadrupling number of flows YoY in Y1.
· Launched Amazon Aware Kids’ and Baby (Amazon’s first eco-friendly, sustainable apparel brand).
